Jürgen Behrendt joined the firm in 1999 following his studies and legal traineeship in Heidelberg. During his studies he worked with Peter Hommelhoff at the Institute for German and European Corporate and Business law at Heidelberg University.

As a specialist lawyer in administrative law he represents many local and municipal authorities in the region as well as companies and private individuals in issues related to public law on construction planning, the building code and the related areas of administrative law.

Further areas of expertise are private construction law, in particular law relating to architects and commercial lease law.

He is a member of the administrative law working party in the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltsverein). He also lectures at Heidelberg University preparing law students for their careers as lawyers.
