Jochen Hummel studied macro-economics in Heidelberg and qualified as a certified tax consultant in 2001. In 2001 he was made partner in the tax consultancy firm WSB Steuerberatungsgesellschaft. He joined Schlatter in 2006.
Jochen Hummel specialises in strategic tax planning, business consultancy and the tax and economic implications of establishing companies, company sales and changes of legal form. He also advises on project investment, in particular on open and closed fund products.
He is an honorary supervisory board member and management board member of a number of charitable organisations. He also lectures in tax law at the Berufsakademie Mannheim.
