Jan Erik Jonescheit (lawyer and specialist lawyer for tax law, born 1971) studied in Heidelberg and joined as a partner the firm in 2009. He previously was a partner in a firm of accountants, tax advisers and lawyers in Mannheim. He represents medium-sized businesses in business and tax law issues, especially in the seed and start-up stage. One of his fields of expertise is purchase and sale of companies or company divisions and angel investor/ seed round or venture capital financing. He is Chairman of the Legal Committee of the German Rowing Association and advises the umbrella organisation of sports clubs in Mannheim (Sportkreis Mannheim e.V.) on legal matters.
