Jörg Klingmann studied in Heidelberg, Freiburg and Lausanne. After completing his legal traineeship he did his doctorate at Heidelberg University, writing his doctoral thesis on international contract law, and joined the firm in 1995.

One focus of his legal practice is contract and commercial law. The majority of his clients are prominent industrial enterprises and service companies. Another of his special fields is real estate law including public procurement and new forms of public procurement (public private partnerships). Jörg Klingmann frequently handles large projects and real estate transactions. He also represents the interests of corporations and foundations as expert and adviser on a wide range of issues.

Jörg Klingmann is a member of the construction law working party in the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltsverein).
