Henning Albrecht studied in Hamburg and Heidelberg. After his legal traineeship in Mosbach and Heidelberg and doctorate at Heidelberg University he joined the firm in 1959. In 2007 he retired from the daily activities of the firm.

His special fields of expertise were public and private construction law, including law on infrastructure development and real estate. His clients included medium-sized companies and many local and municipal authorities in the Rhine-Neckar region. His work on administrative and unfair competition law in connection with planning, contractual bans on incineration and compulsory use of municipal combined heat and power in Germany was of fundamental importance.

Between 1972 and 1992 Henning Albrecht sat on the board of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Lawyers. From 2002 to 2006 he was a member of the board of the Centre for Legal and Administrative Sciences at Cottbus University.
