Christian Albrecht studied in Berlin and Heidelberg, wrote his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Erik Jayme on European law of civil procedure and subsequently worked for a law firm in London. Later he worked for the tax authorities, and then in a regional ministry of finance.

He joined the firm in 1994. As a tax adviser and a specialist lawyer for tax his special areas of expertise are advising German and foreign companies on corporate and tax issues and corporate succession strategies.

Christian Albrecht is a member of the British-German Jurists' Association (Deutsch-Britische Juristenvereinigung), the European Lawyers Association, the Corporate Law Association (Gesellschaftsrechtliche Vereinigung) and the German Association of Tax Jurists (Deutsche Steuerjuristische Vereinigung). He is the author of a number of publications on tax law.
