Britta Schubel studied in Jena and wrote her doctoral thesis on out-of-court dispute resolution. She was accepted into the study foundation of the German people (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes) and received a grant for her doctorate.

After her legal traineeship in Heidelberg Britta Schubel had her own legal practice from 1998 and joined the law firm in 2000. The technical training which she completed before her law studies complements her expertise in contractual and non-contractual manufacturer's and product liability law. She has a number of long-standing clients from the manufacturing sector whom she advises and represents in this field, addressing the full range of issues starting with product development and including the legal aspects of product documentation, product launching and, of course, insurance claims.

Britta Schubel also handles the related insurance issues, contract drafting and standard terms and conditions.

She also advises creditors in insolvency cases. Britta Schubel has experience in the field of doctor's liability. She is a member of the medical law working party in the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltsverein).
